Fiery Mango Tango Salsa

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangos, peeled and diced
  • 1-2 Habanero peppers, finely chopped (adjust for heat preference)
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 c. fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp honey or agave (optional, for extra sweetness)
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil (optional, for a smoother texture)

Instructions

  1. Peel and dice mangos, place in bowl.
  2. Finely chop onion, tomato, and cilantro, add to bowl.
  3. Remove seeds from habaneros, finely chop, and add to mix (adjust quantity for more or less heat).
  4. Add lime juice, salt, and honey or agave (optional).
  5. Stir until combined. Add olive oil for smoother texture (optional). Adjust seasoning.
  6. Let sit for 30 minutes in fridge before serving for best flavor.
